I was not able to take the NASA tour, as the heat and humidity would have probably sent me to the hospital. So, I found a place to sit and wait, which happened to be the food court, which had some neat arty things hanging from the ceiling!
So peaceful, one almost forgets the cacophony of noise from all the students visiting!
A couple more Shuttle-related items to note:
For awhile, we thought this was all the “Shuttle” we would ever have…
Houston, WE HAVE A SHUTTLE! #eep
And, last but not least (yes this is was actually in the entrance!):
A new Launch System for a new generation!

It’s amazing that as long as I’ve lived in the Houston area, I have yet to visit Nasa. I guess I need to. My granddaughter went with her Girl Scout troup a couple of weeks ago. They had a sleep over. Now she wants me to move to Mars with her when she grows up! LOL!
What an amazing trip. I’d love to take my kids for a visit there some day!
