WW: My Comforter, the Stress Bee

Sorry that this week’s Wordless Wednesday doesn’t have all the neat kinds of photos like the last several have had. Unfortunately, a combination of an unbelievable (some might say unbearable) spike in the level of stress at work, combined with a murderous heat that is quite literally taking my breath away, has left me severely weakened. Add in a self-assignment I have undertaken to take (and post) at least one photo per day, each day, during September, and I just don’t have a lot of fresh photos to share.

Fortunately, as many of us do, I have something to aid me in getting over times such as this. A take-off on the stress ball, it can handle being squeezed, being thrown (since it is very soft, things won’t be as likely to break/get injured), and – maybe the best thing about it – it is So. Darned. Cute. How cute is it? So cute that the instinctive reaction is to reach down and pat its little head, which is a very calming action.
