Last week, I was going to make my WW post about the visit of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. However, weather delayed its arrival, so I posted several photos in my Photo-a-Day series. Here are two of them, among my favorites:
I also took the series of photos from the shuttle’s departure for the West Coast, and put them in a slide show for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
Last, but not least, you can see other photos I took during the shuttle’s visit to Houston by viewing the photo set on Flickr. See y’all next WW!

(Note: This is also part of a self-assignment I am trying, challenging myself to take – and post – at least one picture per day, each day, during the month of September. So, check back, and see what else I come up with!)

Very dramatic shot! Thanks for sharing this. It always makes me feel a bit sad now to realize that the Space Shuttle has been retired, & to reflect upon the demise of our manned space program.

Să ai o seară liniştită.
How cool to get to document such a historic moment! I lived in West Palm Beach and we could go out in our front yard and watch the con trails as the shuttles lifted off in Daytona. Thanks for sharing your shots!!
