WW: MOAR DINOS!

Last week, I promised more photos from my visit to the new paleo hall at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land.

Here you go!

Hall of Paleontology, HMNS Sugar Land

Looking down the hall. (The non-fossil in the middle is my son.)

Megalodon jaw and teeth, HMNS Sugar Land

“My, what big teeth you have, Mr. Megalodon.”

Fossilized Armadillo and Giant Ground Sloth, HMNS Sugar Land

These are not dinosaurs…

Triceratops, HMNS Sugar Land

But these are. (Triceratops)

Stegosaurus, HMNS Sugar Land

As is this. (Stegosaurus)

Ankylosaurus model, HMNS Sugar Land

And this. (Ankylosaurus)

Coelophysis, HMNS Sugar Land

This one too. (Coelophysis)

And, of course, what is a paleo hall without at least one of these?

Trilobite, HMNS Sugar Land

Trilobite!

There are more photos to be seen, and they can be seen at my set on Flickr. If you ever get down to the Houston area, this should be on your “places to go, things to see” list.

Happy WW!
